As a small, family-owned business, we are proud to be an independent retailer of these world-class products. We are passionate about helping our customers find the rest they’ve been missing, and our dedicated sleep advisers are specially trained to guide you through the SAMINA system and answer any questions you may have.
Our Team
Founded by Claus Pummer in 1998, Natural by Design, Corp. is a lifestyle furnishings company and the exclusive North American importer of SAMINA—a luxury brand of organic mattresses and sleep products.
Claus initially formed his company in Canada after emigrating there from his native Germany in 1998. In 2013, Denise partnered with Claus in marriage and in business. They maintained two store locations for a couple of years, the original in the Ontario, Canada and the second in Dallas, TX.
With a renewed focus on the SAMINA brand of healthy sleep systems and products, they consolidated both locations into a new boutique showroom in southern California where holistic lifestyles and organic products flourished.
